What I want is to create an app that renames the video files to a neat and tidy format, adding TV show titles as well.

I DO NOT want :

1. A zillion ways to customize my file format.
2. A user interface that's impossible to figure out.
3. To type anything, the app should be smart enough to do it all by itself.

What theRenamer DOES have:

1. A user interface that's idiot proof.
2. A brain that sorts out the Show name, Season/Episode numbers (S1E1 or 1x1 format) and ignores all other crap.
3. Talks to the most advanced search engine - Google
4. Grabs episode titles from the most comprehensive movie database on the web - IMDB.com
5. A simple database system for custom show namings found by the users to be shared with the rest of the community.
